PRIVATE STUDY: Fulfill your musical dreams

OVERVIEW

The Music School of Delaware is the place to study privately, offering instruction and coaching for students of all ages and levels, from beginning to advanced, at locations across the state of Delaware. Our expert faculty of nearly 100 highly credentialed artists and educators provides lessons in strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, organ, harpsichord, guitar and related instruments, harp, Celtic harp and voice. In addition, the Music School boasts excellent teaching facilities, public performance opportunities in an acoustically superior concert hall, piano accompaniment, a certificate program, financial assistance and merit scholarships, competitions, complimentary concert tickets and many workshops and master classes.

Lesson length and the selected/assigned faculty member determine the tuition rate as indicated in the branch sections.  Assignment for private instruction depends on student and instructor availability and is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Private instruction enrollment is for the entire academic year (four 9-week quarters), however registration is ongoing throughout the academic year and tuition will be prorated as applicable. In order to ensure that the instructional experience is productive and meaningful, regular attendance is expected.  Piano students should review the Piano/Keyboard Instrument Requirements.
