As the only nationally accredited program of its kind in Delaware, the Music School offers standard-setting instructional programs for all ages and levels, including private lessons in all orchestral and band instruments as well as piano, organ, harpsichord, guitar, harp and voice; early childhood classes; Suzuki Academy; orchestral, choral and chamber music ensembles; music history and theory classes; music therapy; and special classes geared for adults.

    Suzuki Academy

    Based on the educational philosophy of Shinichi Suzuki, the Suzuki Academy applies the mother tongue approach to music study, so that students learn to play violin, viola, cello or flute as they would learn to speak language—by listening and imitating—with the support of parents and teacher.
