The Music School of Delaware hosts over 75 performances, events, workshops and master classes each year at locations throughout the state including both the Wilmington and Milford branches and several outreach or partner sites. All events are open to the public and many are free of charge. Performances include diverse musical styles and feature expert faculty, regional artists, internationally acclaimed special guests and the school’s students.

In interactive workshops, learn how to prepare culinary classics such as spoon bread, Hoppin’ John and okra; try out a variety of American dance steps; and explore the art of quilting. Enter a raffle for a dreadnought-style guitar. The evening will culminate in a performance by the Music School’s Brandywine Fiddlers, followed by Grammy nominee David Bromberg’s special presentation, “I Never Heard a Horse Sing It,” in which he will demonstrate how song lyrics and plots migrate into other songs.
