Music for A Lifetime!

Founded in 1924, The Wilmington Music School is Delaware’s primary local resource for music education and programming. WMS provides music instruction and programs for people of all ages and ability levels, including private instrumental and vocal instruction, introductory and supplemental music classes and ensembles, music theory and appreciation courses, early childhood programs, and performance opportunities for students, faculty, and special guests. Financial aid is available to students each year. WMS is nationally accredited by ACCPAS, the Accrediting Commission for Community and Precollegiate Arts Schools, and is the only nationally accredited community music school in Delaware and is an institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
