The Music School of Delaware Announces New Location in Lewes and Summer Programs in Milford

(WILMINGTON, DEL.) April 19, 2011 – The Music School of Delaware expands its statewide footprint with a new satellite location in Lewes opening in summer 2011. The Music School will offer private lessons for flute, clarinet and saxophone at the Groome United Methodist Church starting June 30, 2011. Additional instruments and programs will be available based on community demand.


Vincent Marinelli is the first instructor appointed to the faculty serving the Lewes location. Marinelli has played extensively throughout the Northeast performing in solo recitals, chamber groups and orchestras on the clarinet, bass clarinet and saxophone, and was a member of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra for more than 25 years.


The Music School of Delaware will offer a variety of summer programs for youth, teens and adults at the Milford Branch location including private lessons, classes and camps. Summer is the perfect time to try something new by enrolling in Piano Sampler group classes (ages 6 to 7 and adults) or Instrument Introduction program (ages 7 to adult). Other popular camps include Early Childhood Music & Movement camps (ages 6 weeks to 5 years) and Summer Garage Band 101 (ages 13 to 17).
