The Music School of Delaware Announces Social Media Contest

(WILMINGTON, DEL.) April 12, 2011 – The Music School of Delaware announces a social media contest for its upcoming Showcase spectacular on June 8, 2011, at The Grand Opera House. All new followers of @musicschoolofde on Twitter and new fans of The Music School of Delaware on Facebook between April 12, 2011, and May 31, 2011, will be entered into a raffle. The raffle winner will “open the envelope” and announce the MusicBuild 2011 winners on the Grand’s main stage at the Showcase.

The raffle drawing will occur on June 1, 2011. The raffle winner will be given a complimentary VIP ticket to attend the Music School’s Showcase on June 8, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. If the winner is unable to attend the Showcase, another winner will be drawn.

MusicBuild 2011—a contest for young inventors, is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity and ingenuity in the invention of a new musical instrument or device. The contest is open to all pre-college age students as individual or team entrants. MusicBuild applications are due May 2nd and winners will be announced and presented cash prizes at the Music School’s Showcase on June 8th.
