The Music School of Delaware Is Now Enrolling for Winter Session

Wilmington, Del. - The Music School of Delaware is now enrolling students of all ages and all levels for winter semester beginning February 1st. The Music School is the only statewide accredited community music school in the nation and offers standard-setting instructional programs including an Early Childhood program; Suzuki Academy; private and group vocal and instrumental instruction; and choral and instrumental ensembles for youth, teens and adults. Programs are available at branch locations in Wilmington and Milford, satellite locations in Angola, Dover, Felton, Middletown, Pike Creek and Seaford and at over 20 outreach locations.
Spaces are still available in many programs, including the new Music for Children on the Autism Spectrum program. A highly successful pilot class of the Music for Children on the Autism Spectrum program began last fall. This unique program, designed for children ages 2 to 7, uses music therapy to help children find an outward expression for their inner worlds. Goals of the program may include increasing attention span, auditory awareness, self-help skills, sensory integration, socialization, and much more.
As a recent recipient of the City of Wilmington’s first ACCESS Award, the Music School has a long-standing tradition of serving people of all ages with special needs. The Music School of Delaware employs music therapists and offers individual and group programs designed for children and adults with special needs.
